The applicant of marriage registration - Both parties concerned.

Documentary proof that applicant should prepare- Household registry, national identity card (passport for foreigner), seal (or signature of both parties concerned.
- Marriage certificate.
- For marriage with foreigner or Overseas Chinese without domicile in ROC submit single certificate (marriage under notarization by the court shall be exempted).
- After announcement and execution of Taiwan and Mainland China people relationship rule (1992.8.18) for marriage with Mainland China citizen, enclose marriage document issued by related institution in China and certified by Straits Exchange Foundation association.
- 3 x similar half body, front, hatless and glossy color photos taken by the party concerned within the latest 2 years (vertical 4 cm , horizontal 2.8 cm or 2 inches).
- Letter of consignment.
